Even when I modify all of the sliders in PROJECT settings and save them, no changes are applied to the video. It's as if the PROJECT settings are not really being saved or applied to the project. nothing is wrong. you need to add an effect or a transition to the clip. the Inspector is where you change the settings for applied effects. Until you add an effect, there's nothing to display there. Left top of the interface is where you'll find the Effects tab, from which you can browse effects and transitions.
