Stick a 3/8 ratchet/breaker bar into it to relieve the tension, and pull the belt off one of the pulleys. Meter should either show "0VDC", or "battery voltage" when checking both fuse tabs on the back side of the fuse to ground. A battery voltage on 1 side and close to 0 on he other side is a blown fuse. While dissembling the older head and the Variable Timing Solenoid actuator broke in 2 (corroded) So i've tried to gently pull it out but to no avail (vice grips, used a hook inside). Explore Our Forums ...When you test it don't just shove the relay for the high beams in gentle press it in a little with the car on and the high beam switch moved to high beams. If by gently touching it to the relay socket it comes on it's a bad relay. I think it retails at a Hyundai dealer for about $16. Like.LABEL EVERYTHING! Use zip lock baggies and sharpies to label bags of bolts and masking tape to label all the connectors on the harness. With everything out give the engine bay a nice cleaning job then inspect and repair any damaged areas of the engine harness. You'll thank me later..
