An important thing to remember is that gunlancer scales extremely well with engravings, especially blue lancer - since your shield is basically always up (if you have specialization & time your shout right) a lot of the negatives to engravings are basically negligible. With that being said my top 3 picks for highest DPS when played properly are Barrage Artillerist, Igniter Sorc, and Empress Arcana. My personal pick being Arty due to the massive amount of push-immunity allowing you to greed entire rotations where most classes would have to reposition or dodge. 8.So I'll go by class/specs tried in order: Instant cast Reflux Sorc - the most fun class in the game for me, you just pump dps with insane survivability thanks to multiple dashes and shield. 1st place on the fun ranking.
